Rural Education
Honor Douglas Patterson Murray, Jr. as a champion for U.S.-China engagement. Doug made countless contributions to promoting education and understanding between the United States and Asia. Assist Yale-China and continue Doug’s work as we address educational inequity at under-resourced schools.
U.S.-China Artist Fellowship Fund
Arts Programs
The Artist Fellowship Fund supports supports a new bilateral exchange of American and Chinese artists in all disciplines, with residencies in New Haven and at Yale and in Guangdong and Sichuan.
Western Hunan Health Initiative Fund
Yale-China’s Western Hunan Initiative aims to transform health services for people living in the under-served, mountainous region of Western Hunan Province, China. The fund supports projects led by local professionals trained at Yale and Xiangya that address chronic diseases and other healthcare needs.
Yali Fund
for Global Understanding
Support a legacy of excellence. The Yali Fund will provide essential funding needed to bring both Chinese Teaching Fellows from Yali schools teaching in New Haven and the Yale-China Fellows who dedicate two years to teaching Yali students in Changsha.
Lunarfest Fund
Connecticut’s largest annual Lunar New Year celebration
The Lunarfest Fund provides operating support for the annual Lunar New Year celebration in downtown New Haven and helps keep this event free and accessible. Organized by the Yale-China Association in collaboration with Yale University and New Haven community partners, this vibrant day features a spectacular NYC lion dance troupe, immersive cultural performances, and hands-on workshops led by local artists.
