Yale-China Association’s
125th Anniversary Celebration

February 10, 2026, kicks-off Yale-China's 125th anniversary year!

Since our founding in 1901, Yale-China has believed in something simple yet profound: the transformative power of bringing people together. We've been privileged to nurture generations of Fellows and cross border relationships that carry forward the legacy of mutual understanding and friendship, creating connections that span continents and cultures.

This 125th year is so much more than a look back—it's an exciting opportunity to recommit ourselves to the meaningful work ahead.

We can't wait to celebrate with you! We're planning a vibrant mix of in-person gatherings and online events throughout the year, designed to bring together our entire Yale-China community. Whether you're joining us from down the street or across the globe, we want you to be part of this special celebration.

125th Gala and Other In-Person Events

We're bringing our community together across the country and around the world. Celebrations begin in Washington, DC this April, continue in other locations during the summer, then head to mainland China and Hong Kong in October—where, among other things, we'll mark the 120th anniversaries of Yali High School and Xiangya Hospital, the first two institutions Yale-China helped establish in Changsha in 1906. We'll conclude with a December gala at Yale's newly refurbished Peabody Museum in New Haven.

More details coming soon. We hope you'll join us for one or more of these gatherings.

Webinar Series

Yale-China will be conducting a webinar series to present the work that Yale-China does today and what we are planning in the future to showcase the meaningful outcomes that can happen when people work together across borders.
